Forsythia and Fugues

I had visions of learning some piano pieces during the time away from the classroom. The cancellation of daycare of course changed that, but I was still able to find some time to work on the first two fugues from J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier. The only problem is that I don’t have a nice piano. So, I recorded them on the Wurlitzer electronic keyboard. It probably has about the same responsiveness and number of keys as one of Bach’s harpsichords, so it seems fair. Also, Bach managed to write music that sounds good on almost any instrument. Here are the first two fugues from the Well-Tempered performed on the Wurli. (There’s also no tempting pedals to hide behind.)
