Blackboard is confusing

I do use Blackboard for one operation – notifying students in bulk. It does perform that function fairly well. However, in typical fashion, the interface to get that done is just short of intuitive.

The Craft of Experimental Physics

In the basement of the Argosy Book Store, I found a collection of essays from 1933. The one that prompted the purchase of the book was entitled: The Craft of Experimental Physics, by P.M.S. Blackett. It’s awesome.

Physics Animations

I thought I’d be a sport and share some of my physics animations that I make for my Phys101 lectures. Most of them are about mechanics and waves so far, but there should be optics and E&M animations coming soon.
